We made GREAT strides yesterday at our adopted park Lonnie C. Miller 🌳 Our special guest Kanada with taught our ladies about the career of farming and looking into opportunities that include agriculture and gave us great information to keep our work going! 👩🏾‍🌾

We were able to fill up 5 large trash bags this go round‼️ which means we did a great job BUT it also means we have to do better at taking care of our environment and parks on the Northside ‼️

There were ENTIRE crab pots on the pavement, trash buried under dirt, full trash bags from parties left, pavilions FILLED with trash, and enough beer bottle caps to build a castle 🏰😩 As little ladies trying to better the community, we ask you PLEASE dump your trash where it’s supposed to go 💖 P.S. That Sun beat us up 😩🔥🤣

This weekend 😍🔥 we are outside and ready to make our Community cleaner one piece of trash at a time‼️ the So Fresh, So Clean series is ALL about community!

Every month we’re spreading agricultural knowledge for FREE while cleaning the very park that helped us grow into the Jewels we are today 🧏🏾‍♀️💖 This Month it’s business owner of Soilful Sis and agricultural specialist Kanada Akira, she’ll be teaching us about the future of agriculture and careers in agriculture 🔥🤏🏾

Girls Inc. Bold LeadHERship Summer Camp is just around the corner! ☀️

This summer, our girls will have an incredible time while building confidence and learning valuable life skills. From mental and physical health to period education, STEM activities, and even cooking, each day is designed to inspire and empower.
