Acknowledging God in our decisions is not the same as surrendering our decisions to Him. We can thank Him for our abilities, recognise His provision, quote His promises, and remain convinced that we are entitled to determine our own path.

The Word of God is not clay for self to mould around its desires. It is the authority under which our desires, ambitions, and plans must be examined and brought into alignment.

Not every good work is a reflection of Kingdom alignment. You can give and still seek recognition. You can lead and still crave importance. You can serve others while quietly building your own name.

The question is not only what you are doing, but who receives the glory and who governs the work.

Kingdom service is not about using good works to elevate the self. It is about surrendering the assignment to the King, submitting to His government, and directing the glory back to Him.
