$20/hr. Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) group meets Monday mornings from 9 AM-12 beginning Sept 12th. We are looking for paid child care workers for 5 month olds - 2 year olds age groups. Workers are welcome to bring their own kids, too!

We are mothers of pre-schoolers and we meet in Ortega twice a month on Monday mornings from 9-12. While we meet, our babies and toddlers are in nurseries. We are looking for nursery workers who watch our little ones while we are next door meeting. It’s such a gift to our moms to have caring nursery team and a little time to themselves. 🤫😉

The symbols: flamingos, flowers, horses. Flamingos are always in groups, you will never see them solo; they live and thrive in community. Horses always run together in the wild. Daisy stems share a complex root system; they grow together. Just like these things, we do best in community. We Go Together.

In 2022, how do women go about making mom friends?! MOPS!

There is a lovely group of women - all mothers of preschoolers - who have playdates, girls nights, in-person meetings and more. St. Mark's MOPS is based in the Jacksonville neighborhood of Ortega, but there are groups all over Duval. MOPS moms are sweet, welcoming friends who want to do motherhood along side you! Sister, it seems to me if you want to do brave things and influence the people around you and maybe even the world, you’re going to fail. You’re going to stumble. You’re going to fall. It’s part of the journey. The trick is to open your hands, unclench and live freely. Life is too short to be grasping for perfection, guarded and afraid of failing. So fail gloriously and then get up and try again. Fail again and try again and again. 🤍
