On June 7th, the Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. & Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter hosted an incredible afternoon celebrating excellence, achievement, and the promise of tomorrow!

We were honored to award scholarships to 14 outstanding scholars, investing in the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic success continue to inspire us all.

We also proudly recognized four Kappa League Seniors during our College Acceptance & Signing Day Celebration, acknowledging their accomplishments as they take the next step in their educational journeys. From college acceptances to future career aspirations, their bright futures are just beginning.

Congratulations to every scholar, senior, parent, mentor, and supporter who helped make this moment possible. Your achievements remind us that when we invest in our youth, we empower the future.

Thanks to the incredible support shown during last month’s Interfraternal Softball Game, the Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Theta Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. came together to donate over 3,000 essential items to Sulzbacher Village — turning fellowship into meaningful service for those in need.

Today, we proudly celebrate the National Pan-Hellenic Council, known as the Divine Nine, a historic coalition of Black Greek-letter organizations founded on the principles of scholarship, service, leadership, and unity.

Founded on May 10, 1930, the NPHC continues to make a lasting impact in communities around the world through advocacy, education, civic engagement, and brotherhood/sisterhood.

We honor the legacy of the Divine Nine organizations in founding order:

This past weekend, brotherhood, community, and service came together at James P. Small Park! The Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., in collaboration with the Theta Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., hosted the 8th Annual Interfraternal Softball Game — and after a hard-fought battle, we kept the trophy home with a back-to-back win, securing a 16-5 victory!

But the real win was off the field: through our Health and Hygiene Drive, generous donations will now support the amazing work of the Sulzbacher Center. Families enjoyed great food, community vendors, and a day full of unity, fellowship, and purpose. Thank you to everyone who showed up, showed love, and helped us make a lasting impact!

Thursday, The Brothers of the Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. were honored to support the 3rd Annual Shop Talk at Edward H. White High School alongside fellow community partners and organizations—an initiative centered on mentorship, confidence, and purpose.

Through meaningful engagement and discussions, we collectively equip young men with the mindset, discipline, and identity to lead with confidence and integrity. We remain committed to mentoring and uplifting the next generation of leaders.

Yesterday, in recognition of National Room to Read Day, The Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., joined by our undergraduate chapters—Edward Waters University (Delta Psi), Jacksonville University (Omicron Delta), and The University of North Florida (Xi Lambda)—had the privilege of spending the day at IDEA River Bluff.

Brothers stepped into classrooms to read with students, reinforce the value of literacy and education, and encourage them to dream big and believe in their potential.

Experiences like this remind us that investing in literacy is investing in the future—uplifting the next generation of leaders while celebrating World Education Day. 👌🏾♦️
