Meet the leadership!

John Magill joined the Heart to Heart Board in 2019 and has served as Treasurer since that time. In this role, he provides financial oversight and supports the Board’s responsibility for stewardship, accountability, and the long-term sustainability of the organization.

John has served in the United States Marine Corps for 18 years. An attack helicopter pilot by training, he has held a variety of operational and staff assignments throughout his career. He is currently stationed in Kenya, where he works alongside the Kenya Defence Forces in support of U.S.–Kenya security cooperation.

John is married to his wife, Rebekah, and they have five children. He values faith, service, and leadership in both his professional life and his family life. His military experience and board service reflect a commitment to responsibility, disciplined decision-making, and serving others with integrity.

As we look to the Christmas season of 2025, Heart to Heart Orphans USA is prayerfully preparing once again to share the love of Christ through Christmas baskets for children in Nairobi, Kenya. These baskets help provide a special Christmas meal and serve as a tangible reminder of the hope, joy, and love found in the birth of Jesus Christ.

Meet the leadership!

Jordan & Cathy Horn

I came to know the Lord at the age of twenty-one and have followed Him ever since. I grew up in Virginia and later moved on to join the military. I first met my wife Cathy when we were in junior high, though we spent years dating the wrong people until Christ brought us together. We were married in 2013, and the Lord has blessed us with two boys who bring us great joy. In addition to serving with Heart to Heart Orphans USA, we are active in our local church, where we help lead and encourage others to know Christ and make Him known. As a family, we enjoy hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and riding bikes together.
