The L'Engle Fund is very supportive of El Sistema Florida. Carlos Cifuentes and his El Sistema youth orchestra will be at the World of Nations Celebration this weekend at 225 Talleyrand Avenue. They will be at booth 10, and will perform on the Main Stage at 1:15pm. Do yourself a favor and give them a visit and a listen.

El Sistema orchestra group will be performing to pay homage to our beloved trustee Linda McClure Kahn. The event begins at 6:30 pm and will take place in the main concert hall at The Friday Musicale located in Riverside.

Congratulations to Shaun Bennett on being awarded his Master’s Degree in Music Education from University of North Florida on May 5! Shaun is a steel drum expert and teaches music in Nassau County. He also serves as a valuable advisory member to the Paul and Linda Kahn Foundation and the L’Engle Orchestra Foundation. We appreciate his hard work and dedication! 🎓🥂 👏

We have over 400 string instruments in our inventory. Here’s the process for the special promotional loan of up to one year.
1. Apply online,
2. Provide credit card information to cover any damage or loss while in your possession.
3. You will receive an email to make an appointment to pick up the instrument(s) in Duval County
4. You sign a receipt for items you pick up

Not available for use
a. in any counties other than the 5 listed above
b. for grade level lower than fourth, or
c. for commercial purposes
