October has been busy at ACS as we have already helped 13 families financially and are feeding record numbers of neighbors in need. We are grateful for your food and monetary donations!

We are located at 1450 Rogero Rd., open 9am-12pm Monday through Friday and can accept donations when we are open.

Pantry needs are: canned pasta, chili, canned meat, tuna, Vienna sausage, mixed vegetables, fruit, rice, dry beans, mac & cheese, instant potatoes, peanut butter, crackers, snacks, clean t-shirts and gently used Bibles. Be blessed!

In the past year we have seen rapidly increasing need in the Arlington Area! We also have experienced a dramatic shift in the types of clients that we service during the week. Your support makes our mission possible! Please consider making a financial contribution by October 31st!

As we continue to feed record numbers, your donations are appreciated more than ever! We have fed 231 traditional clients and 143 unhoused clients in the first half of September.

August was a record breaking month in the number of people helped with food and finances! 2 of our clients got jobs in August, thanks to you helping us provide bus passes for interviews! We received 7,018 pounds of food and distributed 9,064 pounds. We were blessed to provide food to 556 clients, 240 unhoused clients, and helping 14 families financially.

Stay safe this week.

Six hurricane shelters will open sometime today at Chimney Lakes Elementary, Lavilla Middle School, Ocean Way Elementary, Landmark Middle School, Atlantic Coast High School and at the Legends Center. Chimney Lakes and Landmark will be pet-friendly shelters and Atlantic Coast High School can accommodate those with special needs.

Pay attention to the weather and avoid unnecessary risks.

Free Lunch for Kids this Summer!

The Free Summer Lunch Program at the Jacksonville Public Library will officially kick off on June 5! To help ensure that kids don't go hungry while school is out of session, free and nutritious meals are available for children and teens 18 and younger at many library locations.

Five of our clients got jobs in March! Your monetary donations help us stock the pantry and provide bus passes for folks to go to interviews. We are very grateful for your support to help others get back on their feet. We were blessed with 6,127 pounds of food and distributed 7,694 pounds of food this month. We fed 408 clients, 193 homeless and helped 5 people financially.

Pantry needs are: Tuna in pouches/pop-tops, Canned meat, Canned chili, Vienna sausage, Canned pasta, Canned tomatoes, Canned fruit, Jelly, Breakfast/Protein bars, Saltine/Ritz crackers,Clean t-shirts & Gently used/New Bibles.

We received 6,914 pounds of food in January and distributed 7,384 pounds to 361 clients and 151 homeless. We were blessed to help 10 families financially thanks to your monetary donations. We are grateful for your support when so many folks are in need of help.

We were blessed with 10,615 pounds of food in December and distributed 8,000 pounds. We fed 348 clients, 149 homeless, and helped 5 families financially. We are very grateful for your monetary and food donations!

We are grateful for the bounty of donations received in November! We were blessed to feed 306 clients, 132 homeless and helped 8 families financially this month. We received 13,277 pounds of food and distributed 6,506 pounds. One of our homeless got a full time job and an apartment!
