Join us this Sunday, August 30th at 2:30 pm! All Clayfolk members (or anyone curious about joining Clayfolk!) - please attend!

We'll be meeting at the Upper Applegate Grange at 3901 Upper Applegate Road and talking about all the upcoming good things happening with Clayfolk! Then we'll be enjoying a program, featuring some of our favorite potters sharing the epic fails and happy accidents they've encountered along the muddy way.

And along with this line, she’s also debuting a new website!

Clayfolk member Teri Fahrendorf of Rain Dragon Studio now has her Oregon Dragon and Moon Cake magnets in Portland’s Lan Su Chinese Garden’s gift shop. She will also be showing and selling her new Lotus-themed small dishes at Lan Su Garden’s first annual Lotus Festival Market, July 24-26. Beautiful work, Teri!

Karen Rycheck Artist of Bread + Butter Studios will be at Anacortes Festival of the Arts in Anacortes, WA on July 31st-Aug 2nd from 10am-6pm.

A gorgeous setting with over 100 amazing juried artists makes this a destination event! Be sure to visit if you are in the area, or even plan your trip to visit!

Many of our Clayfolk potters up in Eugene will be sharing their work at the CLUB MUD Summer Pottery Sale on Sun, Jul 26, 2026, 9:00am-4:00pm at the Maude Kerns Art Center, 1910 East Fifteenth Avenue, Eugene, OR

"Club Mud, Eugene’s oldest ceramic coop, will be hosting its annual Summer Sale on Sunday, July 26th from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. Enjoy wandering through our garden area and visiting our working studio. Whether you’re looking for something functional or decorative, you’ll find an amazing assortment of ceramic work to match every pocketbook, be it gifts for your friends or maybe even your own piece to grace your home. Come and wander … you’ll be glad you did."

Lily Myers Kaplan of Peace, Love, & Beauty Pottery will be exhibiting at Ashland Art Works Community Gallery for the month of July. Opening Reception will be held on 7/3 from 5-8pm.

The exhibit is titled The Earth and Her People and centers on expressing the awe Lily feels in response to the tactile beauty of the natural world. Surface designs are interpretations of the art of Indigenous cultures and her recently conceived Desert Sands Series incorporates wild materials to create a surface reminiscent of pottery drawn directly from the living earth.

Clayfolk member Stephan Roy will be at the 4th of July show at Lithia Park in Ashland after the parade! The Ashland Chamber of Commerce is hosting this event with vendors, food, and more until 5:00 pm!

Come check out his latest crystalline pieces and take home your own fireworks in the form of beautiful pottery! Happy Fourth!
