The results are IN from the Petco Love Mega Adopt Florida weekend event and promotion ... 1,949 adoptions in just THREE DAYS across the state! 🐾☀

This event included more than three regional events, dozens of Petco stores, and more than 40 shelters across the Sunshine State. Through collaboration and teamwork, more than 600 pets found their new, loving homes at our regional events alone.

This was our second statewide promotion with the goal of uniting and empowering shelters at the start of our busiest season.

This time tomorrow, we'll be checking in with you LIVE from the Havert L. Fenn Center right here in Fort Pierce, FL. For two whole days, we're teaming up with SPCA of Brevard Adoption Center, Brevard County, FL - South Animal Care and Adoption Center, City of Fort Pierce Animal Control, and St. Lucie County to participate in a weekend of monumental lifesaving. With the compassion, heart, and help of Petco Love and BOBS from SKECHERS, we're participating in their second-ever MEGA Adoption Event 🐾

All pets available for adoption will be fixed (spayed or neutered), up to date on all of their vaccinations, microchipped, and their adoption fees are COMPLETELY FREE. That means you can take home your next best friend for $0.

Additionally, the Humane Society of St. Lucie County shelter on Glades Cut Off Road will remain OPEN June 28 - June 29. And all pets at the shelter will ALSO have their adoption fees reduced to $0.
