Some of our Jacksonville Clinic team recently visited K9s For Warriors for a tour and had the opportunity to learn more about their incredible work supporting Veterans. We’re proud to partner with an organization that provides trained service dogs to Veterans living with PTSD, MST, and/or TBI.

And, of course, no visit would be complete without meeting some of their adorable dogs in training! 🐾

🚨 🚨 🚨 Is your child or teen having a hard time managing big emotions? They may benefit from becoming an Emotions Detective! 🕵️

The Emotions Detective Group is an 8-week virtual psychotherapy group for children and teens in 5th–8th grade who are navigating challenging emotions. 🔎

Through fun, supportive activities, participants will build emotional awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and connect with peers who may be experiencing similar challenges.

Each session includes:

-1-hour group for children and teens 🧑‍🧒
-30-minute group for parents and caregivers with strategies to support their child at home

The virtual group is available to clients in GA, FL, NC, IL, TN, IN, AL, and MO 💻

Project Savior Outdoors is committed to preventing su***de among Veterans and first responders, and we look forward to connecting their team with additional Veteran-serving organizations throughout Northeast Florida.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with an organization so dedicated to making a difference. We look forward to welcoming their leadership team to our Jacksonville clinic in September.

Clinic Director Alex Feld recently attended an intensive hosted by the University of North Florida's Animal-Assisted Services for Health and Education Program, where she connected with Dr. Binder and Dr. Taylor. As they prepare for a research project focused on Veterans, the group discussed opportunities to collaborate and better meet the needs of Veterans throughout our community.
