Introducing Natasha Schauer, MSW, LCSW, LCAS, our latest Team Member Spotlight!

What drew Natasha to this work? Her experience serving as a medic with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg.

Her time in service taught her that sometimes what helps save lives isn’t an intervention—it’s being present and walking alongside someone through their hardest moments.

Today, Natasha brings that same approach to her work as a clinician, supporting individuals, couples, families and groups through difficult experiences.

She hopes every client who walks through our doors feels welcomed and understood, and believes therapy is a collaboration between clinician and client.

As part of our series highlighting the people behind our clinics and the work they do, we're introducing you to Jessica Kampfe, MSW, LSCSW.

So what drew Jessica to this work? Her own experience as a military spouse.

I saw how unique military life is, and I wanted to help support service members and their families navigate the challenges of military life.**”

Jessica believes therapy isn’t always serious or somber. There’s room for humor, happiness and celebrating progress, too. Most importantly, she hopes every client feels safe and heard.

Her grounding reminder: “Appreciate where you are in your journey even if it’s not where you want to be.”

Jessica is also leading our two-session couples workshop (virtual and in-person) beginning October 14, using Gottman relationship skills to help military couples strengthen communication, connection and resilience.

Join our clinic on for Faith Leader Military Awareness and Support Training, a hybrid training designed to help faith leaders better understand military culture and learn about su***de prevention for Veterans and military families.

Service members, Veterans, and military families come from all faith traditions and often turn to their faith communities for guidance, connection, and support. This training provides an opportunity to build knowledge and strengthen your ability to support the military-connected individuals and families in your community.
