Just received some sad news, of the passing of one of our original organizers and our first Executive Director, Stephen Wagner. He was instrumental in getting the organization started in the fall of 2019, applying for our initial status as a 501.c.3. Our deepest sympathies go out to his wife Erin and his family.

Join us this weekend at Gefen Park on Sat and Ford on Bay on Sun (site of the old courthouse) We will,play handpans from 1-2 pm, as part of a pilot program created by Riverfront Parks Conservancy and COJ.

Our goal of expanding in the US is getting closer. To that end we are happy to announce that Handpan Dan aka Daniel Baird has been elected as a board member to our organization. We look forward to this new phase of growth, and appreciate all of the support in the national handpan community. Congratulations Daniel!

Looks like we made the local newspaper, annoucing the upcoming 6 week free programming at two Riverfront Parks downtown. This free program runs from now, until mid March at Gefen Park and Ford on Bay. We will play handpans on Sat & Sun 1-2 pm but you can come out any time during the next six weeks on:
Fri 4-7pm (at Ford on Bay),
Sat 10-3 (at Gefen Park) ,
Sun 1-4 pm at Ford on Bay.
This offering by COJ, Downtown Vision and JAX Parks is an effort to improve these downtown greenspaces which help bring people to our beautiful riverfront, a treasure for us all.

Starting this coming weekend come out to the beautiful downtown Riverwalk for free activities for all. Streams Of Sound INC will be playing handpans each Sat and Sun during the next 6 weeks. On Saturdays you can find us at Gefen Park just west of the YMCA on the northbank riverwalk fron 1-2 pm, and on Sundays we will set up on the Northbank Riverwalk at Ford on Bay, the green space where the old courthouse used to live, just west of Birkmann Plaza.

The Riverfront Parks Conservancy is proud to announce 6 straight weekends of free fun for all, starting February 2 and going through March 10. 📅

The programs will be held Fridays and Sundays at the Ford on Bay site on Bay Street, formerly the old courthouse site next to the Hyatt, and on Saturdays at Sidney Gefen Park along the Riverwalk near the Winston YMCA. 😁

The Riverfront Parks Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed to support the emerging downtown parks and riverwalk in partnership with the City of Jacksonville’s Parks & Recreation Department.

We are floating in bliss after such an incredible group this evening at St. John's Cathedral! We had people from all walks of life lying down Sound Bathing, dancing to the flow of the music, and sitting, listening in deep meditation.

The incredible architecture and acoustics of the Cummings Chapel inspired us and with everything combined, it was one of the most remarkable evenings of our tour so far.

We’re so grateful for Streams Of Sound and John Guinta for bringing us to Jacksonville again, and for being the steward of such a wonderful community of Handpan players and enthusiasts in north Florida. Be sure to check out Streams of Sound, a registered nonprofit, and all of the work they do in the area and nationwide for serving underprivileged populations, hospice, assisted living, and many more communities with beautiful Handpan music.

As we go over our stats for FY 2023 we can see the scope of our work for the year.

➡ We had 702 engagements of at least one hour of music.

➡ We exposed over 9,898 people to our music.

➡ We had a successful PanMarco Handpan Show 2023, a trade show that brings attendees and performers from around the globe to Jacksonville, FL for 3 days of handpan bliss.

➡ We expanded our presence in the assisted living community, adding several new facilities for regular engagement.

➡ Conitnued to serve our Faith Based partners, St John's Cathedral and St Mary's Episcopal. We provide soothing sound at the St Mary's Food Bank each week and play for special events at St John's Cathedral.

➡ Continued our weekly presentation at UF Proton Therapy Institute.

➡ Continued our contractual arrangement with Art With A Heart In Healthcare to perform weekly in the adolescent behavioral Health at Wolfson Children's Hospital.

➡ Continued our contractual arrangement with Art With A Heart In Healthcare providing sound for the adult behavioral health units at Baptist Hospital.

➡ Performed fir the 3rd year in,a row at the Jackonville Leadership Breakfast for high achieving young adults from the local high schools.

➡ Performed regular sound baths at Cu**er Museum

➡ Performed for the Cu**er Museums Art For All project, exposing hundreds of youngsters with disabilities to our art form.

➡ Worked with PossAbilities Plus Thrift Store to provide handpans for the autistic youth group they serve.

This is a sample of just some of our work in the NE FL community. We are grateful for the positive reception of our instruments and our sound. It is our hope that we can add a small measure of peace into our troubled world.
