We are in the process of trying to put an effort together with Diversion Motorsports, LLC to race the SVRA weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway later in June. In addition to racing at one of the most historic tracks in the world, it will be a great forum for us to raise awareness about Alzheimer's and to raise a few dollars as well.
As we have mentioned several times, we do NOT use any of the donation funds to cover racing expenses. However, we are actively seeking out sponsors who are willing to cover some of our racing costs so we can get out there and spread the word about our nonprofit. As part of that, any sponsor contributing to the effort can designate an amount that they want to go to the racing expenses, and what amount will be a donation to the cause. 50/50, 75/25, 90/10....whatever the company or individual wants to do, we will make it happen. We insist on some sort of split.
Finding money, whether it's for donations, sponsorship, etc is hard. We are always working, but can use some help! If you or someone you know might be willing to help, please contact us!
