Blessed Feast of Saint Thekla | عيد مبارك للقديسة تقلا 🌿
On this blessed Feast of Saint Thekla, Protomartyr and Equal-to-the-Apostles, we rejoice together as one family in Christ and celebrate the patroness of our beloved community.
Saint Thekla reminds us that a life truly centered on Christ becomes a life of courage, faithfulness, love, and hope. She heard the Word of God, allowed it to transform her heart, and followed Christ with an undivided love.
As we celebrate her feast, may her example inspire our St. Thekla Melkite Catholic Community in Jacksonville to continue growing as one family—united in faith, generous in love, and always keeping Christ at the center of everything we build together.
May Saint Thekla intercede for every family, every child, every young person, our elderly, our sick, and all those who carry intentions silently in their hearts. May she accompany our growing community and teach us to serve one another with humility, forgive one another with love, and remain united even when we are different.
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” — John 13:35
May Christ fill your homes with His peace, protect your families, strengthen your faith, and make our community always one heart and one soul in Him.

في عيد القديسة تقلا، أولى الشهيدات والمعادلة للرسل، نفرح اليوم معًا كعائلة واحدة في المسيح، ونحتفل بشفيعة جماعتنا الحبيبة.
تذكّرنا القديسة تقلا بأن الحياة التي يكون المسيح في مركزها تصبح حياة شجاعة وأمانة ومحبة ورجاء. لقد سمعت كلمة الله، وفتحت لها قلبها، وتركتها تغيّر حياتها، وتبعت المسيح بمحبة كاملة لا تنقسم.
وفي عيدها، نطلب شفاعتها من أجل جماعة القديسة تقلا للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك في جاكسونفيل، لكي نستمر في النمو كعائلة واحدة، متحدين بالإيمان، أسخياء بالمحبة، واضعين المسيح دائمًا في قلب كل ما نبنيه معًا.
لتشفع القديسة تقلا بكل عائلة، وبكل طفل وشاب، وبكبار السن والمرضى، وبكل إنسان يحمل في قلبه صلاة أو وجعًا أو رجاءً لا يعرفه إلا الله. ولترافق جماعتنا وهي تنمو، وتعلّمنا أن نخدم بعضنا بتواضع، وأن نغفر لبعضنا بمحبة، وأن نبقى متحدين حتى عندما نختلف.
«بهذا يعرف الجميع أنكم تلاميذي: إن كان لكم حبّ بعضكم لبعض» (يوحنا 13: 35).
ليملأ المسيح بيوتكم بسلامه، ويحفظ عائلاتكم، ويقوّي إيمانكم، ويجعل جماعتنا دائمًا قلبًا واحدًا ونفسًا واحدة فيه.
يا قديسة تقلا، أولى الشهيدات والمعادلة للرسل، تشفّعي فينا. ☦️
