This is not about efficiency. It is about removing safeguards in a system where mistakes cannot be undone.

On February 10th, the state plans to execute Ronald Heath.

Like many people on death row, Ronald, known as Frog on the row, is not the same person he was decades ago. He has consistently expressed remorse, taken responsibility for the harm he caused, and worked to live differently in the time he has been given.

Today, Ronald is a craftsman, creating handmade items, and pouring care and love into each piece, especially when they are meant for the people he loves most: his mother and his wife. Even now, his greatest concern is not himself, but the pain his ex*****on would cause them. He is not ready to go, not out of fear for himself, but because he cannot bear the suffering it will inflict on those he loves.

This ex*****on will not heal what was broken. It will only multiply the harm and deepen the grief.

"Tonight the state of florida took the life of my bestfriend, husband and soulmate, Edward Zakrzewski. We had our last visit today from 8 to 11... at 10 am they allowed us a one hour contact visit. I will never feel his hand hold mine again, I will never feel his arms hold me again, and I will never kiss his lips again. I feel lost and saddened right now but I know that Zak is free now and I also know that NEVER will the state of Florida kill the love we shared for each other... Lisa"

BREAKING: Gov. DeSantis just signed the eleventh death warrant of 2025 and set an ex*****on date for Curtis Windom. The ex*****on is scheduled for Thursday, August 28 at 6 pm. Mr. Windom was sentenced to death for the 1992 murders of Johnnie Lee, Valerie Davis, and Mary Lubin.
