February 19th 2022, the skies over Jacksonville filled with the roar of military airpower! Civilian and military aviators, technicians, Educators and volunteers converged on Cecil airport. Young eyes looked up with hope and wonder, dreams cultivated and utter excitement realizing this moment; all the planning, donations and volunteering, was just for them! CLIMB22 a huge success!

Thanks to USAF Det 1, US Navy, US Army, National Guard, USCG, Customs and Border Protection, Jax Sheriff's Office, Epic Flight Academy, CAP, Jacksonville Aviation Authority, Lookup Avaition and Rivente Algen Albritten , American Airlines, Acent Aviation, BPA and all who donated to make this event possible

Retired Brigadier General Charles McGee, part of the pioneering all-Black Tuskegee Airmen during World War Two and one of its most decorated pilots, died on Sunday at the age of 102, his family said in a statement.

February is right around the corner and so is climb 22! The 2nd annual outreach event hosted by The 332nd Heritage Foundation and Jacksonville Aviation Authority. Last year's event was a success even in the face of a pandemic, 30 students were given the opportunity to experience flight And be exposed to career opportunities like never before! This year we hope to inspire a 150 students and bring the experience of aviation and education to the Jacksonville area once again! The event is free for registered students February 19th 2022 from 8am- 3pm at CecilAirport, Jacksonville FL. There will be static Displays, demonstrations as well as representatives from military and civilian career fields to answer questions and mentor! So excited for February, let's climb!!!!
