It was a perfect day in the park yesterday for Gospel in the Park, hosted by HCLG Revival Center Church! Thanks Bishop Percy Golden!

Many faith partners from the North Beaches Ministries group either sponsored the event and/or came out, along with first responders. We provided lunch vouchers to our beaches street friends. Best sausage dogs ever!

It felt great to relax and to take in the music and fellowship …. together.

This is a big shout out to the awesome work of the Clara White Mission. They treat our street friends with dignity and compassion. They are never still and are always working on the next thing in their quest to help!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 16, for Gospel in the Park at Jordan Park in Atlantic Beach. Hosted by one of our partner churches (with the Beaches Homeless Coalition and North Beaches Ministries), the HCLG Revival Center Church will offer great music acts, worship, fun and games, a kids’ zone, and fellowship!

Our street friends can check in at the tent for North Beaches Ministries to get a voucher for a free lunch.

We will be there from 10 am - 4 pm. Come see us!

46 of our street friends enjoyed a FANTASTIC dinner last night, hosted at Beach Church Jax and organized by our friend Sara Henderson! Food, games, and fellowship were GREAT!

Thanks to the cook team at Ocean City Church, the dessert team at Roberts Mount Pisgah AME Church, and ALL the partners and volunteers.

Beach Church is hosting a Compassion Night for our friends who are experiencing homelessness in the beaches community on Thursday, May 7th. We will serve dinner, play table games, and watch a movie all together!

This is not an overnight event.

The host church would love for you to partner by either donating your time or supplies. You can view and sign up to give needed donation items and volunteer times here!

BHC is proud to support the front line ministry to aid the beaches homeless at Beach Church Jax. Thanks to our fearless leaders - Emmanuel and Sara.

At Monday’s cold (brrrr), Cold Night Shelter, 87 street friends were served, along with one four-legged furry friend.

Partnerships continue to develop, as we commit together through this “boots on the ground” ministry collective. So many faith partners are represented.

Kudos for the delicious food go to Mission House, Inc., Beaches Community Kitchen (BCK), members of The Vine Church & a pickleball group. Shout outs to Marcia, Deb, Megan, and Al!!!!!

We gave out donated clothes and cold weather gear, we watched a movie, we brought together many volunteers, and we had great fellowship. We ❤️ you.
