Camp Teetonkah

Camp Teetonkah is operated by the Michigan Crossroads Council, Boy Scouts of America. The camp consists of 240 acres on the shore of Big Wolf Lake.

Camp Teetonkah is located in the Irish Hills of Michigan, southwest of Grass Lake. One of the oldest Scout camps in the country. Camp Teetonkah also offers weekend camping for Scout units. Campsites offer on site water, and are a short walk to modern indoor restrooms. The dining hall pavilion is also available to rent for your unit to use for meetings, picnics, or just some protection from the elements. Electricity and lights make using it at night very convenient.

COPE AND CLIMBING TRAINING!

Michigan Crossroads Council is hosting an upcoming COPE & Climbing Level 1 Instructor Training, designed for both new and returning staff and volunteers looking to lead safe, engaging outdoor experiences.

Guide to Safe Scouting Update
The Guide to Safe Scouting has been updated with a clarification to recruiting as follows:

"Youth who are not registered in the unit may not accompany parents or siblings in camping programs of Scouts BSA*, Venturing, and Sea Scouting. For example, siblings who are not registered in the specific troop may not attend Scouts BSA troop campouts as part of a “family camp”. Youth who are not registered in the unit may not accompany parents or siblings in camping programs of Scouts BSA*, Venturing, and Sea Scouting. Recruiting exception: When recruiting youth not registered in Scouting, they may attend a unit campout if eligible for registration in the unit. When recruiting all program policies apply, including an annual health and medical record, parental consent, age-appropriate activities."
