We’re excited to see you at the Annual JaxNaz Craft Show & Maker’s Market today! We have a table with info about Trail Life and we are selling jams, jellies, fruit butters, salsa, pickles, BBQ sauces and more.
We also have decorative ears of corn, decorative cornstalks and pie pumpkins for sale.

Every boy needs a Call to Adventure! Epic adventures mark the journey to manhood.

Trail Life is the call to adventure that boys crave. A boy longs to be tested, to leave home, venture into the great unknown, endure hardships, and prove himself. Hiking up mountains, weathering rainstorms, pitching tents, camping under the stars, starting fires, and cooking meals build character and demonstrate his mettle.

After such adventures, a boy stands a little taller, speaks a little deeper, and walks a little bolder.

Evan entered Trail Life at 11 during a season when very little felt steady. COVID had disrupted nearly everything. School was tense—fights were common and supervision was lacking. After-school care brought more of the same. His mom knew her son needed something different.

In Trail Life, Evan found men who stayed, a faith that held, and a place that taught him to stand. Years later, his church faced a decision: Was Trail Life a ministry worth continuing? One leader simply pointed across the youth group at Evan and several other young men.

Before boys become men, they need room to be boys. Room to roam through the woods, to build fires that smoke more than they burn, to experience eating food they cooked over the fire they made, and to paddle aimlessly around the lake.

They need time outdoors—wrestling with ideas, with each other, and with the Word of God.

This is how boys grow—side by side, with faithful adult mentors, in God’s creation. Fall is the perfect time to Join the Adventure. Troops near you are kicking off the new program year and welcoming new members.
