Hey ladies!! It’s initiation time for the 35 pledges that joined this fall! Initiation will be this Sunday at 8pm at the KD house. If any nearby alum would like to donate any snack items, the chapter would greatly appreciate it!! There should be around 86 girls at the house right that night. There is someone bringing cupcakes already. Let me know if you want to treat the girls. I live nearby so you can bring it to me or I can meet you at the house! 💚💚💚

I don't really know where the girls will shop for their littles so I'm just getting a Visa gift card. Hello everyone,
This opportunity has been brought to my attention by fellow Sister, Amanda Masters..
What are your thoughts? I think we could meet at a restaurant to eat again, have our first AC meeting of the Year and collect money or gift cards!

I have an idea of how the AC could help the chapter this semester, if we wanted to help!! They've just picked up 9 more new members over the weekend, for a total of 35!! Several actives will most likely have to pick up more than one little sister... and may have a little trouble for paying/buying her KD things for Big/Little week. So I was going to suggest that we can somehow come together and help them with that as an AC?? What do you think? Big/Little week is the first week of October, I believe, so it's very soon!! Let me know what you think.

Honestly, I'm thinking just a few people would be fine, if any are available! Pref is Friday night at the KD house. Starts at 6, so maybe 5:15 or 5:30 to help plate finger foods and pour drinks. Only two parties that night, so they're over at 8:10. Actives are wearing black dresses.

As of right now Pref night (Friday) they will most likely need the most help! Tonight and Thursday they're only serving drinks so not as much work in the kitchen!

Bid Day starts at 10:30 Saturday, but I would probably say 10:00 to get their before all the action starts!

I can't be there at Bid Day, I'm going to go see my daughter at college! Yippee! I will be there to help at Pref!

Hope to see some of you there! If all possible, I know our KD sisters would love to have a large support system at Bid Day! Go Zeta Beta!

Hey ladies! I haven't heard back from anyone regarding Recruitment. I did hear that possibly Alumni can't be there working or helping during the week of Recruitment. If anyone has more information can you contact me or just post on this page. I knew I couldn't be there for Bid Day but I was really wanting to help during the week.

Hello Ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful Summer! I have been totally consumed with my daughter's Senior year of High School, Graduation and preparation for College. She's now moved into her dorm and actually started Sorority Recruitment today!! I would like to say a special thank you to any of my KD sisters that gave my daughter a recommendation for Recruitment. I will be forever grateful!
I truly apologize that I haven't been in contact with all of you but I really needed to focus on getting my daughter ready for college.

I know many of you are going through the exact situation with your own daughter. I pray that all of you cherish this special time. As we all would love our daughters to pledge KD, we have to let them follow their hearts and let them find the Sorority that they feel like they connect with, (this has been a REAL struggle for me, so your prayers for me at this time are greatly appreciated). I wish everyone going through Recruitment the best!

Now, I am pleased to announce that the Jackson, TN Kappa Delta Alumnae Chapter is official! Thank you so much everyone who sent in their Alumnae Dues! I know we are a brand new Chapter so let's just take baby steps and take it one thing at a time.
The perfect way is to start our year is to help with the ZETA BETA's Recruitment at Union University. Does anyone have the RECRUITMENT dates? If so please let me know ASAP so we can begin making plans to help! I love all of you! Let's make this a wonderful year for KD!
