BUIM Through cultures, we unite! As the club grows, so will its outreach! The purpose is to educate people in other countries to what life in America is like.

Formerly known as BUFEM, we are aiming to promote languages and cultures at Belhaven University by offering progams unique to the needs of foreign students and US citizens who might want to learn from international culture as well. Currently, we offer a writing workshop, discipleship program, and womens Bible study for international students. The writing workshop seeks writers of all talents and l

evels of experience to write articles. Content can include describing your life, what you eat, where/how you live, funny or memorable stories, etc. They will read these articles and, hopefully, gain a better perception of what it means to be like the average American. The discipleship program is a primarily a student-led discussion group held on a bi-weekly basis. Attendees will open up to talk about ideas related to discipleship, missions, and secular thought as it relates to the world which we live in. The purpose is to plant the seeds for minds to effectively enter the world with knowledge of the Gospel. Third, we have a Bible study group for female international students who might know little, nothing, or have only had a connotation of the mean of the Gospel. This group is focused toward enlightening memers of the truth of the Gospel and being free from the world through Salvation.
