Your hike/climb/adventure just became community science! 🏔️

You can help build population trend data 👏 while you explore!

In partnership with Wyoming Game & Fish Department, JHWF volunteers will conduct 30-minute presence surveys at assigned sites between July and mid-September, recording pika detections and sign.

It’s time to put your observation skills to work!

On Friday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6, we are teaming up with
the Teton Valley Idaho Master Naturalists and others for the inaugural Teton Valley BioBlitz.

Over one weekend, volunteers and area
experts will spread out across a network of public and private land habitats in Teton Valley. Together, we will document the incredible flora and fauna that make this valley so ecologically invaluable.

The entire community is invited to our Saturday afternoon Conservation Fair to celebrate biodiversity, mingle with neighbors, and learn from regional experts.

Spots for the expert-assisted field explorations are limited and registration opens in late April.

Join the Alert List and be the first to know when sign-ups go live: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/teton-valley-bioblitz-tickets-1982697888758?aff=oddtdtcreator

🦊“Act natural.”

🦨"If I 'act natural,' this whole tunnel is going to be out of commission for a week.”

🦊"Just keep moving. No cars, no fuss. This was the perfect shortcut."

It doesn't take a scent-sational detective to see that these two prefer the 22/390 underpasses to the highway! While we may never know exactly what shenanigans they're up to, we do know they’re doing it safely.

Did you know? Crossing structures and funnel fencing can reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions by up to 94%. (Huijser et al., 2021)

That’s a massive win for wildlife and drivers alike.
