You know Heather as our fearless founder of Poppy. But before this space was even a thought, Heather was a part of the Start Up Success program that gave her the blueprint to build, launch and run Juliet, which sent fertility tests straight to the customers door.

Years later, after selling Juliet, Heather was able to apply the same concepts learned in Start Up Success to get the idea of Poppy (a women led community and space) out of her head and into downtown Jackson. And here we are :)

We love you Julie! Yesterday we said “see you soon” to an integral member of the Poppy Community, Julie 🫶. Julie has been a day one poppy member, A+ team player for our Community Ambassador program and someone who made everyone that walked into our space feel warm and welcome.

We’ve watched Julie have her first child, navigate career changes, write a book, have a second child and now make the move to Michigan. She’s done it all with a crazy amount of “can-do” attitude and it’s a testament to the kind of inspiration she is to all of us at Poppy!

We’ll miss her precision to detail (particularly to making sure coffee mugs are clean), biking to Poppy no matter the weather, commitment to home cooked meals and workouts and of course the joy she’s brings to everyone around her.

You always have a home here with us, Julie Monrad 🧡 Good luck in Michigan!
