🌌 Fun Fact Friday | Stargazing Edition
Did you know the Summer Triangle connects stars from three different constellations?
This recognizable pattern is formed by three bright stars: Vega in Lyra, Deneb in Cygnus, and Altair in Aquila. Together they create a large triangle in the night sky! The Summer Triangle is called an “asterism,” meaning a recognizable star pattern rather than an official constellation. Think of it as a landmark that helps you find your way around the sky.
And despite its name, you can still spot it on autumn evenings. On the next clear night, look up and see if you can find all three stars.
