The Cause: All proceeds go directly to Genesis and Light GLEAM Camp 2026 to help host a fun and safe summer camp geared to improve students' academic performance, prevent summer learning loss, and prepare them for the next school year.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

For the past 17 years, Genesis and Light have provided summer services to thousands of at-risk youths from the tri-state area of Hinds County, introducing them to STEAM education, offering nutritious lunches and snacks, and creating a safe environment free from the dangers of alcohol, drugs, crime, and gangs. These efforts have boosted students’ academic performance, better prepared them for the upcoming school year, and reduced summer learning loss. Due to state and federal budget cuts and rising costs, we need your help to continue offering our 2026 Summer Camp Program. You can sponsor a child for $85 per week or $510 for the summer.
