Howdy, Tougalooian!!

Tonight kicked off Founders Week 2026! On tomorrow at 6:00pm, the Pre-Alumni Council is hosting “Fashion for the Future.” Our eaglets will be modeling professional attire. To add a little more “pizzazz,” I want alumni present to network with the students. This event will be held in the Bennie G. Thompson Center’s James Courtyard.

Please consider attending and showing our eaglets that they have a bright future as an EMPLOYED Tougalooian! 😁

Tougaloo College 157th Founders’ Week is off to an amazing start.

Tonight, we celebrated the royal coronation of the 87th Miss Tougaloo College, Arielle Ruth Brumfield! She is the first queen to hold the honor as a student who matriculated through the Jackson Tougaloo Early College Program and she was also one of our 2025 Thelma Sanders Scholarship Gala Book Stipend Winners!

Congratulations to our President, Ms. Carolyn White as she now serves as the Executive Director of the Ushers Auxiliary for the GMBSC of Mississippi, Inc.

Meet Sis. Carolyn White, Executive Director of the GMBSC Ushers Auxiliary. In this role, she provides leadership for the ministry of hospitality and service, helping create welcoming, organized, and supportive environments during Convention gatherings and activities.
