Jackson Free Clinic The Jackson Free Clinic (JFC) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization who sees patients without health insurance.

The Jackson Free Clinic (JFC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation operated by the medical students of the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine in cooperation with local physicians and community leaders. The clinic is run each week by volunteer medical students from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and volunteer physicians from the Jackson community. Our services

include patient examination, treatment, education, preventive care, and referrals to appropriate community resources when more advanced or specialized care is necessary. We also provide dental servies, physical therapy, and occupational therapy as well as specialty days with social workers, psychiatrists and nutritionists. Huge thank you to Madison Central High School’s Student Government Association for supporting Jackson Free Clinic through their Spring Philanthropy project! 💙
After learning more about JFC and the communities we serve, MCHS SGA hosted a schoolwide kickball tournament and collected nearly 2,800 hygiene items for our patients. Last week, the students visited JFC to pack these donations into individual hygiene bags for upcoming outreach screening events, tour the clinic, and learn more about our work.
We are so thankful for these hardworking students and their commitment to serving our community!
We are also so grateful to our Social Health Directors, Sarah Sawaya and Kaitlyn Anderson, for working with these students throughout the year to connect them with JFC and hosting them at the clinic.
