Jackson Personal Care Ministry Multi-church ministry providing personal care products to persons in need. This is a public page for those intersted in knowing what items are most needed.

Location at Partnershp Place home of St Johns UCC and Westminster Presbyterian Church on Mechanic Street where the good deals are, suggestions for the future, etc. All who are involved in with the Jackson Personal Needs Ministry are welcome to post at this time. Please DO NOT POST PRAYER REQUESTS HERE unless you have permission of those form whom prayer is requested. This venue is PUBLIC. Thank you.

SMFB will have an emergency food distribution in Jackson County next week!

On Wednesday, November 12th, SMFB will be at the Center for Family Health to support our neighbors facing food insecurity. We will have emergency bags, meal kits, and additional a la carte items available to take home. No ID or additional information is needed to be brought for pickup.

With SNAP benefits paused, please see this list of food pantries in Jackson. Be advised Encounter Church either has or will be moving theirs to the Wesleyan Church. I believe it is located at 119 N Webster.

Also, be aware that the Interfaith Shelter will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please monitor their page for further information.

Thank You! FBC for being such a great host and partner all these years! We’ve enjoyed spending time with Rev Dallas and all the FBC volunteers and we will miss our former home very much!

When the song of the angels is stilled
when the star in the sky is gone
when the kings and princes are home
when the shepherds are back with their flocks
the work of Christmas begins:
to find the lost
to heal the broken
to feed the hungry
to release the prisoner
to rebuild the nations
to bring peace among the people
to make music in the heart.

I look forward to continuing the work of Christmas with all of you in the New Year!
