✨INTRODUCING OUR BOARD✨
Lindsey Baligad :)
Early bird or night owl?
Early Bird! I’ve always naturally woken up early and look forward to greeting the sunrise, hearing the morning bird songs, that first sip of black coffee. Sometimes I get into “night owl” mode if the occasion calls for it, but eventually I hit a wall where sleep is the only thing that matters.
What’s something you’re learning lately?
Currently in the financial analysis for decision making portion of my business degree program— challenging but I love it!
What’s your perfect Jackson Hole day?
With the summer season upon us: A morning out in the park or surrounding areas, hiking and exploring new trails and terrain with my boyfriend, a Creekside Market sandwich and salt & vinegar chips on board, and either a Snow King Concert to finish off the day or grilling at home with a Stillworks Sloshie as the cooking sidekick. ;)
Favorite local spot?
The Bird for a casual dinner, Snake River Grill for date night, and Wild Sage for a cocktail.
If you could master one outdoor skill, what would it be?
Oh gosh, is there an all-encompassing skill for being an overall well-rounded, bad-ass mountain woman?! Although I am a hunter, I believe I’m just beginning to scratch the surface of understanding the outdoors, the natural world, and understand what this “skill” truly entails. I think I would want to master my skill as a huntress as there’s so much involved with being one: tracking, survival, respect for our planet, self-sufficiency, preparation, self-connection, innovation, grit, heightened senses.....the list goes on.
What song are you currently listening to on repeat?
Teardrop by Massive Attack
What’s one thing you’d tell a younger you?
Lean into your whimsy, speak up, own your thoughts, and don’t feel like you need to be “less” or “more” for anyone.... ever. I’d give young Lindsey the most massive hug and look her straight in the eye telling her how proud I am of her.
