At our latest meeting we welcomed Dr.Jacque Bradford, Program Director and Associate Professor for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus. This program is a three year residential program for 40 students in three cohorts, which is the largest cohort graduate level program at the University of Memphis aside from Law. We also celebrated Rotarian birthdays and anniversaries!

The Jackson Rotary Club celebrated 110 years of serving our community yesterday. We continue to be engaged in monthly service projects to make a difference in our community and create lasting impact.
Dr. Peter Buckley, Chancellor and CEO of UT Health Sciences in Memphis, was our speaker. UT is a R1 Top Tier Research Institution and has four campuses across the state, 3300 students, 1400 residents and fellows, and nearly 800 clinical sites across the state.

The Jackson Rotary Club welcomed 34 beautiful contestants of the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant as our guests on Wednesday, along with the reigning Miss Tennessee Volunteer, Meghan Poore, Executive Director, Emily Ann Sparks and President, Arthur Sparks, Jr. Jackson is home for the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant, and it is being held at The Carl Perkins Civic Center July 22-25. The winner will be crowned Saturday night and will become the Governor’s Official Spokesperson for Character Education across our State. We wish them all the best of luck!

“Quiet Your Inner Critic and Claim Your Unique Genius” is our “Women of West Tn” theme. It is a ½ day strengths-based leadership experience for women who are ready to replace self-doubt with grounded confidence. Learn how to quiet the inner critic without silencing your ambition, excellence, or desire to grow. Using CliftonStrengths as a foundation, participants will explore imposter syndrome, identify their inner critic’s patterns, and leave with participate strategies for leading with clarity, courage, and authenticity. This is not another professional development session about fixing what is wrong. It is an invitation to claim what is already right, rare, and powerful in you!
