On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel participated in the annual meeting of the Canadian Conference of Orthodox Bishops (CCOB), held at the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada in Toronto, Ontario.

The meeting was hosted by His Eminence Sotirios, Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Canada, and brought together hierarchs representing several Orthodox jurisdictions in Canada. Among the participants were His Eminence Metropolitan Ilarion of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada, under the Ecumenical Patriarchate; His Grace Bishop Andriy of the Eastern Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada, under the Ecumenical Patriarchate; His Grace Bishop Ioan Casian of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada, under the Romanian Patriarchate; and His Grace Bishop Clement, Auxiliary Bishop of the Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Diocese of the USA, Canada, and Australia, under the Bulgarian Patriarchate.

Miercuri, 17 iunie 2026, Înaltpreasfințitul Părinte Arhiepiscop Nathaniel a participat la întâlnirea anuală a Episcopilor Ortodocși din Canada (CCOB), desfășurată la sediul Arhiepiscopiei Ortodoxe Grecești a Canadei din Toronto, Ontario.

Reuniunea a fost găzduită de Înaltpreasfințitul Părinte Arhiepiscop Sotirios, Arhiepiscopul Ortodox Grec al Canadei, și a reunit ierarhi reprezentând mai multe jurisdicții ortodoxe din Canada. Printre participanți s-au numărat Înaltpreasfințitul Părinte Mitropolit Ilarion al Bisericii Ortodoxe Ucrainene din Canada, aflată sub jurisdicția Patriarhiei Ecumenice; Preasfințitul Părinte Episcop Andriy al Eparhiei de Est a Bisericii Ortodoxe Ucrainene din Canada, aflată sub jurisdicția Patriarhiei Ecumenice; Preasfințitul Părinte Episcop Ioan Casian al Episcopiei Ortodoxe Române a Canadei, din cadrul Patriarhiei Române; și Preasfințitul Părinte Episcop Clement, Episcop Vicar al Eparhiei Ortodoxe Bulgare din Statele Unite ale Americii, Canada și Australia, din cadrul Patriarhiei Bulgariei.

“Since the outbreak of this devastating war, the Orthodox Church in America has consistently prayed and labored for peace, condemning violence, bloodshed, and the suffering inflicted upon innocent people. We condemn the continued military attacks of the Russian Federation upon the sovereign territory of Ukraine, which have brought immeasurable suffering to countless innocent people and have now further endangered and damaged the sacred Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra itself. We pray that these hostilities may cease without delay and that a just and lasting peace may soon be restored.”
