The Fathead Challenge is officially ON for the Jackson Walk, and it’s all about teamwork. Through May 11th to May 15th, if your team raises $500, you will get your very own CUSTOM Fathead to have at walk!

That’s right, this is a TEAM fundraiser. Rally your crew, make those calls, send those texts, and get everyone involved. Once your team raises $500, you’ll score a larger-than-life Fathead to show off your team pride on Walk Day!*

Today, Sanofi announced the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Tzield (teplizumab-mzwv) for use in children ages 1 and up in stage 2 type 1 diabetes (T1D). Breakthrough T1D thanks the FDA for this approval and Sanofi for their commitment to new therapies for the T1D community.

Breakthrough T1D celebrates this decision which gives families with young children the ability to delay T1D onset, giving them additional years without the physical, emotional, and mental burdens of T1D.

This decision highlights the urgent need for screening for T1D at every age – early detection is the only way to take advantage of Tzield and delay progression of the disease. Read the link below to learn more about this approval and how to get screened for T1D.
