Jackson Lions Club Our motto, "We Serve", exemplifies the spirit of Lions around the world.

The Lions service organization began as the dream of Chicago businessman Melvin Jones, who believed that local business clubs should expand their horizons from purely professional concerns to the betterment of their communities and the world at large. The Jackson Lions Club, Chartered in 1927, is a member of the worldwide Lions Club organization which, at 1.4 million members, is the world's largest service organization. The Lions credo is "We Serve", and represents a personal desire and commitment to give back to our local community.
