🤌🏽Nobody is going to bring you peace, but you.

🤌🏽Sex doesn't fix toxicity. In fact, it's more likely to worsen it.

🤌🏽Don't skip pre-marital counseling. Don't skip the honeymoon. And, do the first anniversary big!

🤌🏽Emotional manipulation is real.

🤌🏽Don't let relief hide red flags.

🤌🏽People who use you - for whatever reason- can't be trusted.

🤌🏽Protect yourself from burn out (from anything). It's hard to come back from.

🤌🏽Sleep matters.

🤌🏽Healing trauma also requires reprogramming your mind and your nervous system. Don't ignore your body's signals.

🤌🏽You can outgrow your family.

🤌🏽The sooner you realize your parents aren't perfect, the sooner you can forgive them for not being the parents you needed.

🤌🏽Most people know what they need to heal but choose to avoid it because the work isn't as easy as operating in the trauma.

🤌🏽Live honestly. Most people are masters at lying to themselves.

🤌🏽Healing is the ugliest beautiful thing life presents.

🤌🏽Underestimating the power of the stillness and the quiet is detrimental to your growth.

🤌🏽Don't pour until your cup overflows.

🤌🏽Ignore the people who ignore your boundaries.
