Hey everyone-
Chrissy here. I have been locked out of my personal facebook account since last week & have finally been able to access my spare one in case this ever happened. If you have sent me a message or tagged me in the past week, I haven’t been able to see a single thing on my page. I’m sorry. We’ve spent hours trying to get it back, but it’s stuck in a loop & won’t leave a certain page. (If anyone has an actual contact at meta or facebook, will you please message me on this page?)
Anyway, this has given me time to look at other things & have some clear thoughts away from always being tagged, responding to messages, and going out on urgent calls all day long.
I have tons to catch up on— lots of rescues to share, lots of funds to raise, lots of videos to show y’all, and news to share.
I have a couple of dogs to get to the vet right now, but I will start catching up tonight. I think I have about 4 weeks worth of rescues to update on 😭, so I will try to share as soon as possible.

Lois is the pup equivalent of a ray of sunshine - bright, cheerful, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face! She's been waiting for her forever home for what feels like an eternity, two years?? And we're starting to think she's been overlooked because she's just too good to be true (but trust us, she's real!). All this sweet girl wants is to play, get her b***y scratched, and maybe even sneak in a few rounds of 'who can jump the highest' (spoiler alert: it's Lois). Oh, and fun fact: she was a puppy mom herself once upon a time, and while her babies flew the coop, she's still waiting for her own happily ever after. Let's be real, adults are the best - they're already potty-trained, they don't chew your shoes, and they're basically just tiny humans in fur coats. Lois gets along swimmingly with the dude doggies, but she can be a snarky with the ladies. And, yeah, she needs a yard with some serious security - this girl can clear a fence like it's her job! 🐾💪

The many faces of JAMES - handsome, dapper, debonair - and complete goof 😂 This ridiculously handsome good boy got a second chance at life when some superheroes swooped in to save him from a not-so-super situation. Now, he's all about playtime - think toys flying everywhere, and James hot on their heels like a furry little lunatic! 🏃‍♂️ He's around 55-60 lbs, a couple years young, neutered, and up to date on all his shots. And the cherry on top? He's heartworm negative, baby! 🎉 James is basically the whole package... minus the whole 'being boring' thing 😉He'll even settle in his kennel nicely when he's had his share of fun. He's as dreamy as his face!

These two ladies are two of our longest residents. They are both beautiful inside and out. Lois - beautiful red girl - and Juniper - stunning pointy ear girl. Both are natural athletes and would love to be your running companion. Surely there are some runners or would be runners looking for a friend to motivate them. They would both be fine as only dogs as they can be a little selective. Lois is only a fan of the boys and Juniper needs to be the boss. Sweet as pie with people.

Some of you may have noticed that we haven’t been posting much. When it’s just a couple people responsible for posting, and everyone gets overwhelmed, dogs don’t get posted and funds don’t get raised.

So please do these girls a solid and share to help find these two gems a home. They are so very deserving and have never given up their enthusiasm for life over the years. Email [email protected] for an application.

I ran into a person (who I didn’t know) in jackson who asked if we rescued in west jackson— and gave me this address. The house is completely dilapidated. Someone has been leaving dogs back there to starve for years. They said a bunch of them had already died. So of course we went to try to help any survivors… 😭

Mildred in a nutshell: couch connoisseur (aka, house hippo). What's a house hippo, you ask? A large, plush, lovable girl who wants her person, her snacks, her couch, her toys and that's all she wrote. Exercise - meh. Potty time - make it quick. Tennis balls and stuffies - oh bring it on (but don't expect her to share). Mildred is just a whole experience and so deserving of the perfect home. She has a few scars that tell a story of a rough life on the streets, but she's ready to settle for a cushy indoor life.

Mildred gets along with all people and has been to several social events. She gets along with other dogs, but she really doesn't share toys so she'll be best as an only dog. And she's plenty of dog if you are looking for just one!

Thank you JXN Roller Derby!! It was Christmas in July 😁 Y’all have no idea how much we needed this support!
