Stewpot's Opportunity Center The Opportunity Center is a ministry under the umbrella of Stewpot Community Services.

A "home base for the homeless" during daytime hours, The Opportunity Center offers community resources such as laundry, showers, mail, and computer and phone access.

How it started:
My friend Brent messaging, "Checking in to see if you know of any needs we can help with" and little did he know I've always got a list in my head. Within weeks, the logistics and supplies were secured and TA-DA!

Thank you Pinelake Church- Small Men's Group for your desire to be of service. This update was so meaningful and such an awesome surprise for our guests to walk into the next morning.

On March 2, 2025, we bravely asked our social media family for help with rebuilding our collapsing ramp. It was a huge ask but we stand on our beliefs that "we have not because we..." (you can finish that) & that our existence in this community is commissioned work so "a way" will always manifest. Welp... a lone, incredibly gifted carpenter stepped up to the plate on this job intended for a small crew. Justin Snow, owner of Cowboy Construction worked on weekends & after hours, pouring his heart, love for humanity & yes, sweat into this project. With a few donated & borrowed supplies, AT NO LABOR COST, our ramp is done & she's beautiful. Justin, our hearts are full & we are so incredibly grateful for you, your gifts & those who've supported you over the last few months. (Check out the March 2 post for a glimpse of our 'before' pics.
