Jackson County Genealogical Society

Jackson County Genealogical Society Meetings are the 1st Saturday. of the month, Sep to May, at the JDL-Meijer Branch, 2699 Airport Rd., 1-3p.m. Field trip in Jun; no meetings in Jul or Aug.

Created entirely from donations and volunteer work of many individuals interested in preserving history, the Society has been collecting research materials since its formation in 1977. In 2004, the JCCS Library was opened to make our collection available to the public.

TOMORROW --- finally we will meet at the Carnegie Library for our monthly meeting in the McIntyre Room. I was holding my breath to see if the forecasts of snow were on target! It appears they were pretty close. Snow is melting and traffic appears to be moving along. So 1:00 social time and a short business meeting before our program speaker Cynthia Grosteck on WWI and WWII records. Hope to see you!
