What an amazing day at the 2026 Hertford-Northampton Livestock Show and Sale! (June 10, 2026)

We are incredibly proud of the youth from Northampton, Hertford, and Bertie Counties who showcased their hard work, dedication, and growth during this year's livestock project. Thank you to all the families, supporters, buyers, sponsors, volunteers, and community members who came out to encourage these young people.

It was wonderful to see our communities come together to celebrate the accomplishments of our youth. We can't wait to see what next year brings! 🐄🐖🐐🐑

Wow! What a great day!

Northampton County 4-H is so thankful for the hard work and dedication of our amazing youth who participated in today’s Northeast Junior Dairy Show. Each of them did a fantastic job, and we couldn't be prouder!

We also want to thank the family members who support these youth and our program. Your encouragement, commitment, and support is so appreciated!

Congratulations to all of our participants. We are proud of each and every one of you! 🐄💚🍀

The NC Youth Livestock Program helps young people learn more about the livestock industry through hands-on projects and competitions. Come join us as youth from Northampton, Hertford, and Bertie counties show off their hard work, livestock skills, and knowledge!

🐣 TODAY IS THE DAY! 🐥

It’s officially Chick Day for our Northampton County 4-H’ers! We are so excited to see everyone this afternoon and get this poultry project started.

Here is what you need to know for today:

Chick Pick Up Day: Mrs. Kimmie will be waiting for you!
📍 Where: The Extension Office in Jackson
⏰ When: Today, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
💰 Cost: $6 per chick

⚠️ REMINDER: If you are participating but haven't filled out the interest form yet, please do so ASAP at: go.ncsu.edu/nocopoultry26
And enrollment in 4-H online is required (v2.4honline.com).
