The Down Syndrome Association of West Tennessee would like to recognize and thank the family of Bobby Neal Clifton. Sadly, Bobby passed away earlier this year. Had he lived to see his next birthday on January 30, he would have turned 73! Through donations and gifts, Bobby's family generously donated $1,500 to the DSAWT in his honor. This money will be used to support programs for individuals all across West Tennessee. Thank you to the Clifton family!

Sweet Jordan’s Paris Is MOVING — But We’re Not Going Anywhere! ❤️
For nine years, since God entrusted us with Sweet Jordan’s, our heart has been to make Jesus famous above everything else. Serving Him through this ministry — alongside our special team members and support staff — has been one of the greatest honors of our lives.
After much prayer and wise counsel, we know it’s time for a change.
Our Paris location’s rent and utilities total just under $8,000 per month. With that in mind, we will be moving out of the Paris building by March 31.
Here’s what we know with certainty:
Sweet Jordan’s is not ending — it’s transitioning.
We will continue serving you from our McKenzie location and our Sweet Jordan's Out & About food truck while we prayerfully prepare for next steps. Please download and use Sweet Jordan's app for order ahead pick-up and delivery from both locations.
Our immediate need during this transition is access to a commercial kitchen. If you or someone you know can help, please text 731.697.5334.
During this transition, a new church that meets each Sunday at Sweet Jordan's at 11 a.m. — Pulse Church — will also need a temporary meeting location. If you have a space available during this season, please reach out. We would love to help connect the dots.
Sweet Jordan’s has always been more than a cafe and coffee shop. It has been a gathering place for Young Life, small group Bible studies, and church prayer meetings. However, when God says move, we move — even when it stretches us. Especially when it stretches us.
We trust that obedience today opens the door for something even better tomorrow — for our special staff, our community, and this ministry.
What we ask from you:

• Pray for wisdom, favor, provision, and peace — especially for our special team members
All gift cards and reward points will continue to be honored at our McKenzie location and on the food truck.
We are incredibly grateful to Joe Mahan Ford, Stockdale's and Cash Saver for graciously offering to host our food truck throughout the week during this transition. We are in conversations with additional Paris businesses, and those locations will be announced soon.

The Skin is In: Skin Conditions in Children and Adults with Down Syndrome

Thurs. Feb. 19, 2026

In this session, you will learn about skin conditions seen in people with Down syndrome. The skin is our biggest organ and certainly the most visible, so there will be a lot to discuss! We will review common conditions such as dry skin and lips, folliculitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, alopecia areata, and infections such as athlete's foot and toenail fungus. This interactive session will be visual with lots of photographs. We will focus on practical tips on how to take care of these conditions and talk about them with your doctor. We will discuss how the immune system interacts with the skin and how this could explain why certain skin conditions are more common. Lastly, we will provide updates on recent skin research studies and discuss future research topics.
