Thank you to the New Mckendree United Methodist Church of Jackson youth group this morning!!!!
With 4 leaders (Tylor Barnes, Doris Dace, Lesa Weiss, Brenda Wendling) this group came out to Old McKendree Chapel and helped with cleaning the flowerbeds and spreading mulch around the landscaping in the Chapel Grounds & also at the entrance of the Old McKendree Cemetery. Then they tackled the sweeping of the inside of the Chapel, dusting the pews & cleaning windows.
It is wonderful blessing for the area youth groups to come out to Old McKendree Chapel & learn the history of how these sacred grounds are tied to the history of their church.

Update on the new restrooms!!!

More pictures!!!

The front support walls are up and the roof trusses are being put up! The entrances to both men & women are going to much easier to enter than the past facilities. Blessings to the two carpenters doing this. 🥰

The support walls are going up, God is great!!

The warmer weather allowing the grounds to be be dryer, a concrete truck was able to get down to the new restrooms construction & delivered the concrete for the floor of the restrooms. The walls will be making an appearance next 🥳🙌
