About the CEO, Jon Baker
Ordained Minister
Eagle Scout
Fire Captain and Paramedic
Following six years of building a missions ministry and becoming an ordained pastor at one of Georgia’s mega churches and 19years of short terms missions around the world, Jon founded A18 Ministries. When Jon first arrived at the mega church he realized quickly that there had never been an organized mission program.

With the Lord at the helm, Jon built the missions program which reached thousands of lives for Jesus including the missionaries. He has served in Honduras, Belize, Peru, Brazil, Haiti, Ecuador, Panama, but the place that you’ll find him returning to the most is the Navajo reservation in Arizona. When Jon was 14 his father led him along with his youth group across the United States to work with the Navajo and lead VBS. While on the reservation The Lord changed Jon’s heart forever! Even though Jon is the founder of A18 he also is an unpaid volunteer for the ministry. He works full time as a Captain/Paramedic with a metro Atlanta fire department and part time as a youth pastor at a church in Jackson, Ga. Besides planning, organizing, and leading missions around the world Jon’s passion is to help churches build their own mission programs and to break down denominational barriers which slow down the Christ movement. Jon and his wife Melissa have 3 children, Kirsten, Kenley, and Kaidance
