Has your corps received the “Belong” box? Make sure to check out the connection cards!

Sometimes, the most meaningful connections begin with a simple question. 💛

Recently, we had the joy of mailing a *Belong Box* to every command across the Southern Territory! Inside were several resources designed to help foster meaningful connection and community, including one of our favorites: *Connect Cards!*

Let's be real. Most of us aren't exactly comfortable sitting in silence with someone else. Maybe you've wanted to get to know someone better but weren't quite sure what to ask or how to start the conversation. Well, we've done a little of the heavy lifting for you!

Our Connect Cards are a small, pocket-sized deck of conversation starters designed to help turn ordinary moments into opportunities for meaningful connection.

Tuck them into your back pocket, purse, or backpack. Keep them in your car, on your dining room table, or wherever life happens. Pull them out over coffee, during a car ride, around the dinner table, or when you find yourself sitting beside someone you'd love to know better.

Because sometimes the deepest moments of connection are the ones we never planned.

Here's what we hope you'll remember: Community isn't confined to the four walls of a corps building. Connection doesn't have to wait for a scheduled program, Bible study, or Sunday morning gathering. And you certainly don't need a perfectly planned moment to make someone feel seen, heard, and valued.

Sometimes, all it takes is a willingness to ask a question, listen to the answer, and make room for someone else's story.

So, if you've received your Belong Box, we encourage you to take those Connect Cards out into your everyday life. You never know what beautiful conversations might unfold!

Some of our DMAG leaders are spending the weekend at the Territorial Worship Arts Retreat at AOK’s Camp Heart O’ Hills in Oklahoma!

We’re excited to see how God grows them in their gifts, deepens their faith, and equips them to pour even more into the young people they serve. We can’t wait to see what they bring back to ALM!
