ALM Women’s Retreat 2026 - Sunday
“You Belong Here”

Sunday Morning we wrapped up our time together with a session theme of, “Remember Who You Belong To”.

The Praise Team led us beautifully in worship. There were testimonies of belonging, Mexico Offering, prayer over our ladies, and a beautiful piece by TAM.

Lt. Colonel Janice Riefer gave a powerful message that reminded us of who we belong to. She spoke about the character of God. By knowing who God is, we can know who we are in Christ. Our belonging should only be found in Him.

We thank God for His goodness to us during women’s retreat. It’s hard to put in all into words, but if you were there you felt it.

May the Lord Bless You and Keep you and give you peace until we gather together again.

ALM Women’s Retreat- Saturday

PJ Party & Spa Night

Our goal for Saturday evening was to fellowship together as a family of God. We laughed hard, danced with joy, and laughed some more.

The night started with nachos and spa night. There was nail painting, moisturizing, and lots of queso.

Then our session began with the ALM dance class performance, and we enjoyed popcorn while we watched ALM’s very own Masked Singer Competition.

Captain Jervonne reminded us at the end of the evening how important fellowship is to belonging, and to love one another as family.

Oh how good it was to laugh with our sisters in Christ.

ALM Women’s Retreat 2026- Saturday
“You Belong Here”

Saturday afternoon brought ice cream
and workshops.

Everyone had a chance to sign up for a workshop that fit them best. Each workshop was designed purposefully for our ladies. There were workshops on worship, crafts, prayer, bible journaling, teachings on what it means to belong, and a class on what to do when life isn’t what you thought it would be. We even had a dance class that was taught by TAM!

We are grateful for each officer and teacher who prepared for the workshops so beautifully, they were a blessing.

ALM Women’s Retreat 2026-Saturday AM
“You Belong Here”

Saturday Morning we found ourselves coming together to worship for session two. During this session our theme was, “We belong together”.

Our creative arts director, Trianna Levi, gave her testimony in a creative way. It was beautiful and it reminded us that God sees us and has a plan for our lives.

There was also a time of prayer led by Captain Jordan Hinson. We got in groups and prayed for each other, for belonging, and for those who don’t belong. We prayed that God would make a way for us to find our sisters in need in our communities, we prayed that we could help them find belonging.

TAM gave a wonderful dramatic presentation that pointed to how important each of us is to the body of Christ, and then Lt. Shania Mhasvi brought a powerful message. Lt Shania reminded us that God created us to take care of each other, to carry each others burdens, and that belonging to Him means belonging to one another.

The Holy Spirit moved in a beautiful way, and we left that meeting encouraged and challenged.

ALM Women’s Retreat 2026-Friday
“You Belong Here”

This time last week we were praying and waiting in anticipation for what God had in store for our women’s retreat.

God was so good! Friday started with registration, big hugs, sharing bracelets from corps to corps and so much joy!

Our first session Friday evening reminded us that we belong to God. Captain Jervonne Hinton shared a powerful message. She reminded us to be like our friend Camille and bring someone else in to the family of God.
