Our Story

The Breathitt County Skills U Center is located in the Breathitt County Life Skills Center in the old Jefferson Hotel Building in downtown Jackson, KY. Classes are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am - 4pm.

The Owsley County Center is centrally located offering classes Monday 8am-12pm and Wednesday 1pm-4pm.

We offer Math, Reading, Science and Social Studies classes. We cover a variety of skills to ensure success with our students. We also offer workforce preparation through the Kentucky Essential Skills coursework. We invite you to join us!
