This message is being shared to clear up confusion and ensure that everyone in our community knows the facts about the official Utica National Alumni Association, Incorporated, founded in 1983.

We’re inviting everyone who has ever attended any school in Utica or the surrounding areas to reconnect, rebuild, and move forward together as one united family.

According to the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Business Services Division, there are currently two separate nonprofit corporations registered in the State of Mississippi:

1️⃣ Utica National Alumni Association 1981, Incorporated
Effective Date: October 19, 1981

2️⃣ Utica National Alumni Association, Incorporated
Effective Date: August 8, 2023

While both are legally registered entities, the Utica National Alumni Association 1981, Incorporated is the original alumni association, founded in 1981 and historically connected to the Utica Junior College and Hinds Community College Utica Campus.

🔹 Under no circumstances is the Utica National Alumni Association 1981, Incorporated affiliated with or connected to the organization incorporated in 2023 under the name “Utica National Alumni Association, Incorporated.”

🔹 The Utica National Alumni Association 1981, Incorporated did not plan, sponsor, collect funds for, or participate in any Homecoming event held on October 17, 2025, in the Town of Utica.

This notice is being shared to ensure that the public is fully informed.

PUBLIC NOTICE FROM THE UTICA NATIONAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION 1981, INCORPORATED

Recently, there has been confusion in the Utica community regarding organizations using similar names to represent the alumni of Hinds Community College Utica Campus. This post is being shared to provide clarity about the official and legally incorporated organization, which is the Utica National Alumni Association 1981, Incorporated. Our goal is to unite, not divide, and to continue serving our alumni and students with integrity, transparency, and purpose.
