Today Was Amazing ✨❤️
The Black Food Sovereignty Coalition- Jackson MI hosted its first Winter Garden Program! We are so grateful to Diane Washington for her leadership and wisdom with YPOP Explorers-Young People of Purpose 🙌🏾

Huge shout out to The Center for Family Health, The South Michigan Food Bank, Laurie and her amazing team at Jackson Community Food Pantry and our crew of Amazing Volunteers! Yesterday we were able to deliver for over 20 families in Jackson ❤️❤️

We want to give a huge Thank You to the volunteers who helped deliver food yesterday! We had over 100 request for deliveries! Unfortunately, with food distribution sites being extremely busy and serving so many more people we were only able to do a small portion of the deliveries that were requested.
Don’t worry, we have not forgotten about you ❤️
We are working on another date to do deliveries and the folks that we were not able to get to we will prioritize. You will be hearing from us soon!
**** If you have transportation or able to catch a ride with a neighbor or friend, please visit the food pantry directly. This will help us to be able to serve more people and ensure  everyone has what they need!
