James Harold Napper, known to many as Jim, peacefully embarked on his final journey on February 28, 2026, at the age of 77, at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born January 5, 1949 in Wellston, Ohio, son of the late Zeffie Jim Napper and Mabel

Buckeye Community Services received a generous donation from the Arby's AES foundation to the Jackson county programs. In the photo(not in order) are Rebecca Hubbard, Shift Manager, Jennifer Grant, General Manager, Faith Forshey, Area Manager, Brenda, Wanda, and Hollie Richard, Area Supervisor. The funds were raised at our local Arby's. A big thanks to Jackson Arby's and the Jackson community from all of us!

The AES foundation was founded in 2020. Our mission is to support programs that strengthen, enhance and enrich the lives of people in the communities we call home.
AES employs over 8,000 people in 20 states, and throughout the year, our restaurant teams support local non-profit organizations in their communities through round-up and donations. Because of the hard work of our employees and the generosity of our customers, AES has been able to donate more than $4.5 million since its inception.

The AES Foundation is chartered to disperse ALL FUNDS collected to our local communities. Three times a year, our employees select and nominate organizations important to them as our charity partners. Our relationships with these charity partners include the opportunity for our employees to be involved and volunteer their time and talents to support these amazing organizations. These opportunities enrich the lives of our team and provide them with the chance to help others. The AES Foundation also provides disaster relief and crisis support when the need arises.

Santa and Safety Pup stopped by the office this morning on their way to our Day Hab. They were making sure our managers were behaving this time of year! A special thanks to the Jackson Sheriff's Dept for making sure our friends at our Adult Day Services got to take pictures with Santa!

Some of our friends from Logan went on the Nelsonville Christmas train ride this weekend. I'm sure Santa and Mrs. Claus could tell they are all on the nice list!
