MISSION STATEMENT: to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.

New homes. New schools. New routines. But one thing remained constant: the people who kept showing up.

Through multiple placement changes, one of our Love Box® teams remained committed to two young sisters, even when distance and circumstances made visits difficult.

And when they were finally reunited? Hugs, squeals, laughter, and the kind of joy that comes from knowing you haven't been forgotten. 💛

Because for children and youth experiencing foster care, consistency isn't just comforting. It can be life-changing.

She almost gave up. Not on the child. On herself.

A first time caregiver and her husband had opened their home to a 7 year old. They were doing everything they could to provide the stability and care this child needed, but without family nearby or a support system to lean on, the weight of doing it all was becoming overwhelming.

Then came a phone call.

She shared honestly how close she was to stepping back. By the end of the conversation, she said she felt something she hadn't felt in a while: hope.

Today, their family has been matched with a volunteer through our Love Box® program. Someone who will show up consistently, build a relationship, and remind this family that they don't have to do this alone.

Because supporting caregivers isn't only about helping the adults.
It can help create the stability children, youth, and families experiencing foster care deserve.

Only a few people choose to open their homes to fostering. The rest of us can choose to stand beside them.

Welcome Madi! 💛
We’re excited to welcome Madi Kaplan to New Jersey Angels as one of our new Leadership Interns!

Madi is currently a student at New York University, where she is studying Social Entrepreneurship and Performing Arts. She brings a wonderful mix of leadership, creativity, nonprofit experience, marketing, and community engagement to our team.

Throughout her internship, Madi will have the opportunity to work alongside our team, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn more about how New Jersey Angels supports children, youth, and families experiencing foster care.

Resource parents, you don’t have to do it all alone. ❤️

When you welcome a child or youth into your home, life can get busy quickly. Sometimes what makes the biggest difference isn’t one more service. It’s having someone in your corner who asks, “What would help your family right now?”

Through the Love Box® Program, New Jersey Angels matches families experiencing foster care with dedicated volunteers who show up consistently with practical, intentional support tailored to the needs of the whole family.

That might mean helping with groceries or meals during a hectic week, celebrating a birthday, providing items a child needs, helping make the holidays a little easier, or simply being a consistent source of encouragement and connection.

Every family is different. That’s the point. Love Box® volunteers get to know the family they are matched with and provide meaningful support based on what that family actually needs.

Join us at Lilly Pulitzer Princeton on Saturday, September 19, from 11 AM to 5 PM for a special shopping event benefiting New Jersey Angels.

During the event, 10% of proceeds will be donated to New Jersey Angels, helping us continue our mission of walking alongside children, youth, and families experiencing foster care through consistent support, meaningful relationships, and intentional giving.
