✨ When organizations come together around a shared commitment to young people, meaningful change happens.

We are incredibly grateful to the AE Foundation for awarding New Jersey Angels a $5,000 Community Grant in support of our mission to walk alongside children, youth, and families experiencing foster care.

Launched in 2024, the AE Foundation supports programs that promote the mental health and well being of young people and empower a better future for all. Through our Love Box® and Dare to Dream® programs, New Jersey Angels helps create the consistent relationships, encouragement, and community support that children and youth need to thrive.

But their impact did not stop with a grant.

The American Eagle Outfitters team rolled up their sleeves and spent the day assembling Love Box® packages that will bring practical support, encouragement, and connection to families throughout New Jersey.

This special day was made possible in collaboration with Accem Warehouse, a longtime supporter of New Jersey Angels. We are deeply grateful for their continued partnership and commitment to the foster care community.

Special thanks to Alex Mecca, COO of Accem Warehouse, and Lisa Mercado, Senior District Team Leader for American Eagle Outfitters, whose leadership helped make this day possible.

This month, we celebrate the families who have worked tirelessly to reunify and the communities that walked alongside them on the journey.

At New Jersey Angels, we know that children thrive when they have consistent support, meaningful connections, and people who believe in them. Through our Love Box® and Dare to Dream® programs, we help build the relationships and support systems that strengthen families and create brighter futures.

Reunification is not always easy. It takes commitment, resilience, and a community willing to show up with encouragement, practical support, and hope.

This month, we honor every family working toward healing, stability, and new beginnings.

Kids helping kids. This is where it starts. 💛

It started with parents who chose to involve their kids early, teaching them that showing up for others is just part of who we are.

Now, these three are doing chores, saving their money, and choosing month after month to give to the Angel Alliance.

And in the process, they are learning something bigger than generosity.
That their actions matter.
That consistency builds trust.
That even at a young age, they can help change someone else’s story.

Because when you learn to show up early, it becomes part of who you are.

If kids can do this, imagine what is possible for all of us.

Caring for children and families experiencing foster care is not someone else’s responsibility. It belongs to all of us.

Reaching every child will take a community of people willing to say yes.
