Did you know the most north boundary of Georgetown serves as the entrance to both the Greater Medgar Evers Historic district & The Georgetown community!

Neighbors and friends of Georgetown, 9/21/2024 we will be hosting our end of the summer community clean up!

It will take place from 5 points at Woodrow Wilson & Livingston to Jasco Gas station.

The cleanup starts at 8am and ends at 12pm, so come when you can if you can’t make it for 8 and if you cannot stay the whole time that is ok too!

We want to beautify our community & fellowship w/ neighbors.

So yall come out tomorrow morning and support our clean up effort in GEORGETOWN.

School is closed Thursday, September 12 as the district anticipates severe weather conditions. School is closed for scholars on Friday, September 13 as teachers participate in Professional Development.

There is a new disc golf course coming to Livingston Park (by the Jackson Zoo). Join the Friends of Livingston Park, Between the Pines Disc Supply, the Zoo Area Progressive Partnership, and Revitalize Mississippi to make this project a success!
