🌍 WE'RE HIRING: TNT4C Regional Vice President! 🌍

Together for Hope is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as our Regional Vice President for Tribal Nations, Texas, and Four Corners (TNT4C)!

This full-time executive role will lead TFH's work across the largest land-area region of persistent rural poverty in the United States—covering over 100 counties throughout the Western U.S., including Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, the Dakotas, Montana, and Alaska.

What you'll do:
✅ Build a robust coalition of nonprofit, religious, and community partners
✅ Lead regional staff and manage program operations
✅ Apply Asset-Based Community Development practices to transform communities
✅ Work directly with TFH's C-suite and fellow Regional VPs
✅ Advocate for policies like Medicaid expansion that benefit rural communities

What you bring:
🎓 Master's degree required (MSW, MPH, MSN, MBA, or related field)
📊 10-15 years program leadership experience
💼 7-10 years budget management & community development experience
🤝 Passion for working with diverse populations in rural America
🚗 Willingness to travel regularly across the region

🏔️ Welcome to the Team, Dr. Kristy Bay! 🏔️

We're thrilled to announce that Rev. Dr. Kristy Bay is joining Together for Hope as our new Director of Programs and Partnerships for Appalachia, starting July 1, 2026!

Dr. Bay brings deep roots in the Appalachian region and extensive experience in higher education, nonprofit work, and community development. A former TFH Appalachia coalition member herself, she's passionate about asset-based community development and has co-directed an Appalachian Immersion Program designed to dismantle stereotypes about the region.

"The mountains are in my blood!" says Dr. Bay. "I'm thrilled to walk alongside the fabulous folks doing the hard work of combating poverty, breaking cycles and stigmas, and transforming communities."

Rev. Dr. Jason Coker adds: "Kristy's rootedness in the area perfectly accompanies her extensive education in a way that will exponentially strengthen TFH's transformative impact in Appalachia. She's ready to go on day one!"

We're headed to Jacksonville June 16–19 for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship General Assembly, and we'd love to connect with friends while we're in town.

We're thrilled to share that Together for Hope has received the Rothman Award for Structural Change from the Special Commission to Advance Macro Social Work, in recognition of our work to transform persistent rural poverty in America. Named for scholar and activist Jack Rothman, the award recognizes organizations driving lasting structural change in their communities. https://macrosocialwork.org/rothman-award-for-structural-change/

This recognition belongs to our whole coalition: the 150+ grassroots organizations across 338 persistent-poverty counties in 30 states who do this work every day in the Delta, the Black Belt, Appalachia, Tribal Nations, Texas, and the Four Corners. It means even more as we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year.

Together for Hope is screening Rising Hope — a documentary that takes you inside a Mississippi Delta community where hope endures despite generational poverty.
