Strong Arms of Mississippi would like to inform our followers, supporters, community partners, and the public that we have recently ended our professional relationship with the individual previously responsible for managing our social media platforms and creating content on behalf of our organization.
We want to make it clear that certain recent posts reflected the personal views and opinions of that individual and do not represent the collective beliefs, values, or mission of Strong Arms of Mississippi.
We sincerely apologize to anyone who may have been offended, disappointed, or negatively impacted by the content shared.
Since our founding, Strong Arms has remained committed to rebuilding communities, empowering individuals, promoting unity, and creating opportunities for positive change. Our mission has never been to encourage division, but rather to bridge gaps, strengthen relationships, and bring people together.
We stand on our mission, not division.

Happy World Teachers’ Day. 💙🦾

Teachers do a whole lot more than teach the lesson.

They notice when something’s off. They redirect. They encourage. They show grace. And sometimes, they’re the steady adult a young person remembers long after the assignment, the test, or the class itself.

Strong Arms believes pouring into young people takes all of us.

So today, we’re giving teachers their flowers.

On October 18, Strong Arms of Mississippi is teaming up with Drive Your Line KartSport for a hands-on motorsports experience built around teamwork, career exposure, positive choices and real-world skills.

This is bigger than a day at the track. It’s about putting young people in rooms, spaces and experiences that can open up a whole new lane for their future.

And we need the community to help make it happen. 🦾

Strong Arms of Mississippi was proud to be in the room last Thursday for the Mississippi Center for Violence Research’s 4th Annual Violence Summit, “Linking Solutions to Violence: United Against Gun Violence.” 🦾💙

Because the truth is, this work cannot keep happening in silos. Everybody has a piece of the puzzle, but real progress happens when we bring those pieces to the same table.

Different organizations. Different experiences. Different approaches. Same goal: safer communities and better outcomes for our young people.

Less silos. More solutions. More work together.

Strong Arms made the trip to Scott County for Save A Life Day yesterday. 💙

Some days the crowd shows up. Some days it doesn't. Either way, the work still matters.

We showed up, set up and made sure Narcan and resources were there and available. Community work isn't just about showing up when people are watching. Sometimes you show up simply because you said you would.

Shoutout to Weems Community Mental Health Center for being right there with us. 🤝
