Sometimes time doesn’t just take something from a man…
it teaches him how to give something back.
There was a version of him the world only saw in moments.
And then there’s the man he became when those moments turned into lessons.
He’s always been the one laughing the loudest, smiling the easiest,
the first to show love, and the first to give credit where it’s due.
But real ones know—
that kind of light doesn’t come from an easy road.
It comes from learning how to keep your heart open
after life tried to teach you to close it.
And now that same man is doing something even greater with it…
he’s pouring it back into others.
Through mentoring, through presence, through example—
he’s becoming the kind of voice he once needed.
He didn’t lose himself in the process.
He refined himself in it.

it’s character that survived the weight of becoming.
