Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

This week, we honor the symbol of our nation—the American flag. It's a beacon of freedom and a reminder of the unity and strength of our country. Let's celebrate together by participating in these wonderful upcoming community events!

Saturday, June 13th: Flag Retirement Ceremony
Join American Legion Post 12 for a respectful Flag Retirement ceremony. This is a special opportunity to witness a time-honored tradition and honor our veterans.

When: Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM

Where: American Legion Post 12, 165 Perry Switch Road, Jackson, TN

Guest Speaker: Major General Warner A. Ross, The Adjutant General of the Tennessee National Guard.

All veterans and the public are invited to attend.

Sunday, June 14th: Flag Day Celebration
Celebrate Flag Day itself at Gene Record Park! It will be an evening of community, respect, and patriotic demonstrations.

When: Sunday, June 14, at 6:00 PM

Where: Gene Record Park

Guest Speaker: TN State Senator Page Walley

Featuring: Demonstrations by the Henderson Fire Department and a flag retirement by American Legion Post 157.

Let's come together to show our honor and respect for the flag and our community. We hope to see you there!
